I got these today from someone who was getting rid of all his red rumps. Didn't have any girls I wanted but I had to bring these two home (Don't tell Shane!!!) Sorry about the quality of the pics....my travel cage is blue! LOL Will get some better ones when they have settled in The hen isn't a normal hen, she is very grey and dull in colour The beautiful Male I couldn't leave behind Don't know anything else about them, what they are split for or anything so it's a pot luck pair!

The one on the right in the bottom picture looks like a normal hen the one on the left, if it has a white patch on it's rump it is a blue male I think, lets see how wrong i am PMSLOL ;D ;D ;D

I will take some better pictures for you all....those blue bars don't make it easy. But she does seem a lot darker and more dull than a normal hen!

amamnda, the hen is just a normal hen. and the cock is either a cinnamon blue, or it could be a lime blue. it isn't light enough to be a blue platinum, and also they don't have any grey in there back's.

That Grey cock is a nice bird Amanda, I'm a bit partial to the blue mutations and I'm off to get my self another male this weekend and it might just be a blue ;D

amanda the hen is just a normal, grey green hens don`t carry the blue patch on there wings. as they are dominant and the blue patch would be grey instead. as for the cock bird i believe he is a cinnamon blue. he looks very young and he will darken up a bit once he moults into his adult feathers. the dark colours on his back is the cinnamon mixing with the blue. lime blue and platinum blue are much more lighter in colour then he is.
